Chris: I live in rainy Portland, OR so am in need of long underwear much of the time. Although I have never owned a union suit, you have interested me so much, I've asked my wife to give me one for Christmas this year. Your blogs are entertaining and infromative. I see that you guys have a lot of fun wearing them. And, they must be as warm as the thermal underwear I wear. Thanks for a couple of great blogs. I always look forward to seeing them... Ben
ReplyDeleteBen, I'm curious, did Santa or in your case Mrs Santa, bring you a union suit? FYI one union suit is never enough. Please let us know if you did receive one and what your impressions are. Trust me on this, they are warmer and more comfortable than two piece thermals since the shirt can never pull out and leave your lower back to fend off the cold on its own.
DeleteYes, "Santa" brought me a couple of bright red union suits - Bass Pro Shops. They're "RedHead Union Suits." I have worn them several days now even to sleep in. They are really nice. Didn't know I would like them so much. Can't say I will give up my thermal undershirt and drawers but I can see why you guys are "fans." Mrs Claus by the way thinks I look pretty good in them. I'm kind of skinny and she says the underwear "fills me out." LOL, Ben
