Movie Trivia is Back!

Take a look at the following strip poker scenes from a western film throwback from yesteryear. And then answer the quiz questions below. Be the first union suit fan to answer all questions and earn the admiration of your fellow long-handled wearers.

Who's the actor who ends up losing his clothes, stripped down to his
long red underwear in a poker game?  Bob Hope

What is the name of the movie character he plays? Hint: his initials MF are monnogramed on the upper left side of his union suit.

                                  Milford Farnsworth

What is the name of the film and in what year was it released?

                                                      Alias Jesse James in 1959

Who is he trying to locate? Why, Jesse James, of course.

He doesn't want Jesse to fake his own death, resulting in his "widow" collecting $100,000 in insurance money from Milford's company.

What female actor is his co-star and what is her character's name?

Rhonda Fleming as Cora Lee Collins

Does he get away from the card cheats? If so, how?

Milford grabs a gun and his clothes and in his long red flannel underwear bids them farewell and then....

(Be sure to see the film and/or my next week's posting)

Bonus question: all movies have editing mistakes in their filming that are inadvertently left in the final cut. One such slip involves this actor's long underwear. Can you determine the mistake from viewing an earlier scene in the poker game? It's pretty obvious. What is it?

Watch this space over the next week for the answer

Good Luck!
